The restaurant taking lower Frederick County by storm located in Monrovia, MD is Wilcom’s Inn. You can read my previous article on them (located here) to learn more about their weekly specials and dinner menu. Today I am going to tell you about their bottomless brunch, where you can eat a sample of everything!
About Bottomless Brunch
Wilcom’s Inn serves their bottomless brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Everything on the menu is served tapas style. You receive a small portion of the meal so that you have room to taste everything you want on the menu. They suggest ordering 3-4 tapas at a time because everything comes out sporadically. Most of the dinner menu options, as well as some breakfast options are on the brunch menu. The bottomless brunch is a great way to sample Wilcom’s menu and get a taste of all of their great food.
The brunch menu ranges from eggs benedict to chicken parmesan. If you have been to Wilcom’s Inn for dinner, you can expect to find many of those items, along with some of the appetizers, and breakfast items. When we were first seated, our table was served a plate of French toast and bacon cheddar biscuits to share while we made our decisions for our first set of tapas. The biscuits and French toast were delicious, and they should probably add the French toast to the menu so that people can order more!
For my first round of tapas I chose the eggs benedict, shrimp and grits and stuffed yucca. They were all fantastic!
My next round of tapas included the Peruvian rice and seafood sauté, empanadas, and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese reminded me of my grandmas with the toasted bread crumbs on top, it was delicious!
I went on to try the chicken parmesan and the waffle with berries. Both were very good!
By the time I finished these I was stuffed! There was still so much more to try, but I think between everyone at our table we tried the entire menu.
I would definitely recommend trying the bottomless brunch at Wilcom’s Inn, and GO HUNGRY, you will leave very full! Also, I suggest making reservations in advance, especially for Sundays.
